I rate having missed eating there and flying on Concorde as two things I really should have pushed the boat out to do. | | | | | Aw, there'll be other things you'll have to not miss, but El Bulli was a tad overrated (though lovely I must say), but the Concorde was truly an experience and was sad to see it go, especially in this age of 'cattle class' flying the service was extraordinary. The Concorde was the way to fly short of having a fighter pilot's license |

Last meal would have to be comfort food like an Imo's pizza, gooey butter cake, maybe a ballpark chili dog chased with some good wine and whoopie pies all eaten on a beach in Rockport, MA. Damn, now I really want a chili cheese dog with extra onion....maybe some whitey burgers for kicks, too.

I would really really want a delightful dish of crab, with a root beer and rocky road icecream..... yup that would do it (and since it would be the last, I would'nt have to pay attention to the calories !)

12 big, fresh, juicy oysters from Meze, France
Croatian octopus salad
two large salt-baked crab claws
a selection of sushi and sashimi
a small serving of spaghetti alio e olio, done to perfection
a side dish of Peking duck
crema catalana
green tea ice-cream
I would die happy.

I wish that my last meal would be....
... on my 100th birthday.

A friend gave me this http://www.amazon.com/My-Last-Supper...0920221&sr=1-1 book a few years ago, where 50 Top Chefs talk about what their last meal would be, who would prepare it, and who they would share it with.
For me, it would be the Steak Tatar from Restaurant Frohsinn in Udligenswil or the Hirata Pork Buns from Ippudo in New York
