That's in order of heat btw.

I read that people enjoy hot food for the endorphin rush.

Oh, I'm so jealous! I'll have to trawl round our Migroses here, to see if they're doing these. I'm constantly trying foods here labelled as 'very spicy' or 'hot', and I'm constantly disappointed.

I was in Marktkauf in the Rheincenter yesterday, and bought some www.hotmamas.de habanero and mango sauce. 250ml for €9!

I love the habanero flavour. Funny thing is, it says that once you've opened it, you should eat it as quickly as possible. So that'll be finished next January then...

I found something similar in Sihl City Coop in the summer. The price was horrific though. Hence we are (trying to) growing our own.

And €9 isn't horrific? I'm just too lazy to grow my own.

This place should sort everyones addiction out - some seriously expensive stuff there, but then again, when it hits in with 7.1 million scoville, it ain't coming cheap!

Of course chillis are addictive. Why else would anyone eat one a second time?

The pack was 4.20CHF. Very expensive, but if you use them all you can get a good few meals out of it.

I've bought Habaneros from the Indian shop near Basel SBB for less than half that price.

Yeah but the value here seems to be it's a selection pack, giving you a nice digest in case you haven't sampled and compared them all side by side.

I'm gonna stick the lot in a sandwich this week.

Now that's funny, and the truth. I ate 4 habenero fritters with a half cup of habenero salsa at a restuarant in Portland, Ore last year - Salvador Mollys. I was surprised at how the chilis, errrr, "accelerated" the disestive process!

I'm so way beyond that...
