My favorite blonde!
It IS good, but Stella is less expensive and reminds me of Egypt, where Stella is THE national beer.

Re: Favourite Beers & Where to Find them

Youngs double chocolate stout was the first beer that I liked. After 4 years of living in the UK and all that beer, I added quite a bit to the 45kgs I arrived with.

Yes that one is great. They have them at La Stanza on Bleicherweg. By the way a great bar / cafe to visit (best espresso in town)

Yes, yes - and a lovely brunette at that - lovely, full bodied, and leaves you wanting more. The blonde is a natural blonde, and she will satisfy your desires, but the brunette is a just a bit more sultry - she leaves a more lasting impression than the blonde...

For some reason, when in BE, I tend to drink Leffe Blonde, but Chimay when it comes time for something more, errr, sultry.

I saw Anchor Steam at Weber Vonesch in Baar.

More importantly, does anyone know where to get Augustiner or

Re: Favourite Beers & Where to Find them

It is a special one, but when the occasion comes nothing beats the Samuel Smith Imperial Stout.
http://www.merchantduvin.com/pages/5...ial_stout.html

It can be a bit heavy though if you get too fond of it...

Advice of where to buy would be highly appreciated!

Aaaargh . . . Samuel Smith Beers . . . a travesty.

They get away with it because they have some of the most characterful, historic and beautiful pubs in the UK. The beer though is a joke.

Weissbier -- at Aldi.

(It also works fine in a Chilli Con Carne.)

Ooh, it is nice to see many of my home land..

World’s Best Marzen / Oktoberfest Primator Polotmavy 13%
World’s Best Dark Lager Krusovice Cerne
World’s Best Oatmeal Primator Stout

I wonder if it means they will kick the price up. The tasting notes are funny, never thought one would taste any of that mumbo jumbo in a beer.

In Zurich you can find Flying Dog Scratch/Doggie Style/K9 cruiser, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale/Porter/Stout, Anchor Steam, Anchor Liberty Ale, Red Hand at Beerplanet Loewe and, or Drinks of the World.
