| | Favourite Beers & Where to Find them
Hello Peoples,
I've seen plenty of complaints about Swiss brews and their poor taste. I haven't had much experience with them(except Feldschlossen), so I shan't comment (except that the aforementioned 'beer' wasn't terribly palatable).
I thought we could share some of our favourites on this thread, and perhaps were we might possibly find them in Switzerland. Here are my favourites, other than the bitter ales I tend to like mine dark, oaty, and stout:
in that order.
I can't quite tell where to find these yet, but will post if I can find anything.
I also enjoy Banana Weissen (Banana juice and Hefeweissen) on a Summer day, but I've asked at every bar i've been to in Zurich (5), and people just seemed perplexed. The German border is not that distant!
If anyone has purchased these beers, info on where to find them would be much appreciated.
Beer recommendations welcome. Pictures and a few words about the beer would be appreciated too....
Threads are useless without pictures.

"Sudden Death" in French supermarkets | | | | | Not sure if it is Mort Subite, but you could get Kriek in larger Coops both in Cherry as well as Rasberry.

They have quite a range of beers that are brewed all the time, plus seasonal beers, plus whatever new beer the brewmeister feels like trying out.
They are available at over 100 shops and restaurants across Switzerland- here's a list on their website.

If anyone ever finds Marston's Pedigree anywhere in Switzerland (Ticino, Geneva, Scuol Tarasp - I'm willing to travel) I would be eternally in his debt.

I also used to love the Marston seasonal ales.
It all went downhill when they were taken over by Wolverhampton and Dudley though . . .
