A good bakery?

Having just returned from the land of croissants, I have had enough of the Migros & Coop rubbish and have embarked on a search for better product. Unfortunately there is an incredible dearth of bakeries in my locale, western Kreis 4 Zurich. A hairdresser every 50m, motorcycle shop every 200m, but no bakeries. The only proper bakery that I know of is a fair hike over to the Limmatplatz. Really odd when most small Swiss villages seem to have a couple at least.

So all suggestions and recommendations for bakeries in Kreis 3,4 & 5 are welcome.

Yes I was thinking of a gentle stroll or cycle for some breakfast croissants. But hey, someone else may benefit from tips outside my locale
