Alcohol questions

For reference, I will be living in the canton Thurgau. I'm not entirely sure what the major cities nearby are, but I'd be willing to make a drive to find the following things if they're available in Switzerland.

1. Beer- Newcastle Brown Ale is my favorite, can you get it anywhere in CH?

2. Kahlua- Last time I visited, my brother in law took me to several liquor stores to try and find a bottle of this, to no avail. Has anyone seen it at all over there? Or does anyone know of a good alternative (to either this or the Newcastle)?

Thanks in advance

Re: Alcohol questions

Must be a Thurgau thing because every Coop I've been to in Basel & Zürich would have both of those.

Re: Alcohol questions

Can't help you much at Thurgau..

In Basel or Zurich, try
Paddy Reilly's Irish Pub & Restaurant

or LeShop.ch

And as for Kahlua, it is sold online here and here
( LeShop.ch used to have it as well )

Re: Alcohol questions

Apparently you can buy Kahlua from Migros online shop. My swiss mate told me that it was basically the only alcoholic product that was available
