Of course I eat my fruits and veggies. But I would like to get more in my diet. And as much as you may think it's possible, I can't just sit at my desk all day and eat raw Kale and spinach well washing it down with bites of apples and pears.

I just asked for an opinion.

Smart ass remarks are not necessary.

You're right - you go to those links you suggested and sign up for those six day juice plans at 700 CHF a week.
Because you're worth it.

You don't actually want any opinions, you want your juice diet substantiated by others.

Yes. Go for it. It's awesome! (is that the correct terminology?)

Re: The Great Big Juicing Thread...

A quote from one of the companies you listed:

Quote:
Black is the new green: Detox with activated charcoal

Gwyneth Paltrow called it „the best juice cleanse“, Salma Hayek added it to the offering of her own juice company and red carpet celebrities swear by it: activated coal is the new beauty secret du jour. No wonder, this black anti-aging remedy sucks up toxins, gasses and acids like a sponge and therefor prevents these bad substances being absorbed by our cells.
Well Mandy, if it's good enough for Gwyneth then it's good enough for you.

Well, time to revive this baby. Thanks to omtsat posting a link (damn you) to a relative bargain-priced (for the market value, it's still by no means cheap) Hurom HU-400 Slow Juicer in this thread, Buying juice extractor in Switzerland, I went out first to look at it, and then went back to buy it about an hour later (I live 2 mins from Fust). I also picked up 2KG of large oranges.
Thanks for sharing this detailed account of your first experiences with the Hurom. I wonder whether you have meanwhile tried the machine with hard vegetables like carrots ?

P.S. I would have 'liked' your post but the only option was to 'quote' it.
