To be transparent, getting to the recommended 9-10 bars require significant pushing. Getting the model with the pressure gauge is definitely useful as I would never believe I needed to push so hard without a gauge.
So you don't have to be a body builder, but it's surprising more of a push than some could expect. I think it 's more about position, angles and technique but maybe it's worthwhile to see if some shops would let you try it before buying...
