| | Blue Moon Beer
Hi Guys!
I'm wondering if any Americans out there know if there are ANY places I can get Blue Moon (by Coors, I know, I'm such a stereotype, but it's so damned good) in CH/DE/FR. I've lived here for years and years and I've searched high and low, so my guess is it just doesn't make it overseas, but if anyone knows of a place please let me know because my husband's birthday is coming up and I'd be his hero if I found some!
Thanks!!

Otherwise, unless somebody else has found it - a trip across the border to check German stores.. or maybe a Globus in Zurich has it..

I'm from MN, too, Anthony, rock on! I've searched Globus, I love that place, thankfully the search there has turned up some other good finds, alas no Blue Moon. I've heard rumors of it in DE in specialty shops, just thought I'd give it a try on here, thanks anyway guys!

I am a complete beer nerd and love me some Blue Moon every now and then. Sadly I have never seen it in Europe, not even in the UK. The most exotic US beer I have seen in CH is Anchor Steam.

Toms Beer Box in Chur has a full range of beers - but I don't think even they have it.

Dear "Bern"
You are my new best friend in the whole universe! I just hope I can ship it to CH, haha.
Anthony, I'm from about an hour south of Minneapolis -- that winter is a cold one! I grew up there and after only 6 winters away, I can't handle it anymore! My husband is from St. Gallen and almost dies when we go there for xmas, hope your girlfriend has thick skin!!
Thanks!

Wow. Does this really exist? Really? Not a joke? Wow.
I know a city in the North of England where this beer would go down a storm, probably be the number one selling beer there.
If I can be bothered, I'll look at marketing and wholesaling it maybe, but if anyone else wants to, feel free. I'm pretty sure it would be an instant success. 45 000 fans sing a song about it every other week, and they're just the ones in the ground.

I'm very confused about that last post. Of course Blue Moon exists, man. But wholesaling it where? And where do people sing about it?

And indeed, if that is not already being sold there, this would certainly be an interesting business proposition, but I guess the cost/profit ration might be prohibitive.. I don't see footy fans as big spenders on expensive beers..

Seems they also sell it Sainsburys supermarkets in the UK (and it's currently on special offer!) : http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/sains...oon_355ml.html
Maybe someone travelling to UK could bring some back for you ?
I'd offer, but not sure when I'll be over there next.

It costs £4.50 for a pint of fosters at the City ground, and you want to see the bars before the game and at half time. Chocca mate. They'd have no problem selling it, believe me. And that's fairly cheap as far as grounds go. Try United or Chelsea, joke prices

Only selected beers from the 2 bad beer brewing empires... unless they have different rules of engagement on UK footy grounds?

You might try a beer called Hoegaarden. I think the two taste a bit similar with a hint of coriander

Oh believe me, I've tried Hoegarten, absolutely is a good beer, but I'm a brewer's daughter, and I know my beers -- not the same.

Anyone with any nouse whatsoever would be selling Blue Moon beer there already. Now I know it exists, I might approach them about it. Most City fans would assume it was brewed expecially, and if it is any good and as cheap as you say, devour it.
