I look forward to learning different once in Switzerland, but for now Pierre Marcolini is the top of chocolate for me - he makes it seem more like an art in fact. http://www.marcolini.be/ |

In terms of bars, rather than delicate confections, I like Amadei and El Rey.
Just to plug a London chocolatier too . . . Paul Young.

@whostolemy cheese,
If you wanted a discussion about high quality chocolate, you may now have realised that this is the wrong place. | The following 5 users would like to thank Gastro Gnome for this useful post:

There's no such thing as a Best chocolate brand in the world.
There's only a thing called "I prefer this one or that one and why, after all these years, you still don't know that I .... bla bla bla.... "

I love a good bar of cadbury but I wouldnt say no to a nice box of Godiva or Debauve and Gallais...almost guilt (sugar) free, and zero preservatives. The French got it right there. nom nom...

Not a huge fan of chocolate, but I did enjoy Marcolini until he sold out to Nestle. Now quite partial to Felchlin. | Quote: | | | | | I look forward to learning different once in Switzerland, but for now Pierre Marcolini is the top of chocolate for me - he makes it seem more like an art in fact. | | | | | | This user would like to thank Bartholemew for this useful post:

I love the small boxes with 20 or so miniature bon bons (i realize this may make me sound like Peggy Bundy...). Small but very tasty!
