Nicky,

Mmmmmmmh. I'm drooling over this picture, whilst trying to find a nice breakfast in Zürich tomorrow morning.

Ideas anyone?

Thanks
Harry

Bacon, sausages and black pudding you can get at www.naturally-orkney.com AND they're the real McCoy !
Has anyone tried the Cumberlands and bacon from this place? They look good, but with a minimum order value of 30CHF, and a delivery price of 10CHF, it would only be worth it if they were pretty damn special.

Can't see any product information such as meat content or additives... Bad sign to me.

Re: Constructing an English Breakfast in Switzerland

Yes agreed. None of the products seem to have a provenance, otherwise I'd be ready to fire up the car and get me some bacon and sausages.

I've got a fierce craving for an EB after reading this thread!

Re: Constructing an English Breakfast in Switzerland

I can second what's been mentioned before: I brought some bacon home from Ireland and gave it to a butcher to "analyse" and reproduce. According to him, what we know as bacon is called "Rippli" in Switzerland - and you can get it in almost any supermarket, although you'll have to slice it yourself.

Alternatively, visit your butcher of choice and ask him to slice some for you.
