Caredda cake shop in Josefstrasse Zurich, review

Have been shopping around for my 30th birthday cake and since my hubby and I are of Italian background, well Im an Aussie/Italian, we decided to visit this "Italian Pasticceria" in Josefstrasse Zurich.

What you have to try, are the lobster tails (Coda di arogosta) and the Porcini mushroom shaped cakes with haselnut creme Yum Yum Yum!!!!!!!!

Here is the website: http://www.konditorei-caredda.ch/index.htm

excellent pick - thanks for posting this! Carreda's a local favorite, I've seen it written up on a few foodie sites. Open on Sundays too.

Caredda rules! It's pastry heaven. I like that they have miniature sizes of everything. Plus: The bread is really good too, I bought one with Dinkel and sort of a Ciabbata style one, for making bruschetta (the name of the bread was "Luusbueb"). It was fantastic!
