| | Vegemite in Basel?
Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Basel I can buy vegemite? I know there a a fair few Aussies out there, so I am hoping someone knows of a place.... Or even of a place online it can be ordered that actually has reasonable shipping costs.....
Cheers,
Megan

Megan | | | | | I've also seen vegemite in larger Coop locations...for instance in St. Annahof for those of you in Zürich. I would think if you visit a large Coop in Basel you may have a bit of luck...
good luck,
Jack

Thank guys, that's a great help.... I have found Marmite, but it doesn't taste the same at all..... Our local Geant has a pretty good selection of international stuff, but no Australian section Guess we're just that bit far away..... Evolver, I'm on my way over - thanks!
Cheers,
Megan

Hmm, Evolver, sorry... Just found out its only for Switzerland - our place is actually classified as France, although it is only a two minute walk to the other side of the border..... Thanks anyway.

I found vegemite today!
It is in the Carrefour in Mullhouse (the one right off of the highway with the little shopping mall attached).
They had at least a dozen jars - and I double checked, it isn't Marmite |

| | We're happy little vegemites...
Hi everyone,
Question- particularly for the Aussies... is there anywhere in Basel or perhaps Zurich I would be able to find vegemite? It's the one thing from home I truly miss.
Thanks in Advance
Niko

Vegemite? I that not that edible lubricant, tried it once and went into anaphylactic shock, found out the hard way that you should not use it like peanut butter.

I've got a big jar and a new tube of it - our guests keep bringing us more and more of the stuff!
PM me if you want me to post you the tube full, or if you can meet at Stadelhofen (Zurich) I'll give you the big jar ! |

I always believed you just had to ask to an Australian embassy/consulate to have a list of shops where you can found it.... |

No iSnack 2.0 though! |

| | Anywhere to buy vegemite in Geneva?
Just wondering if there any shops stocking vegemite in or near Geneva. I have found the online Aussie shop in Switzerland from other posts but would prefer if possible to find somewhere where I can just walk in to buy it. If anyone has seen it on sale in Geneva, would really appreciate it if you could let me know where. Many thanks.
