Just above the mushy peas in Co-Op Sihlcity, pickled onions, small jar, 7.50 chuffs... Ouch

sod the price of pickled onions, mushy peas in coop? wow! this country is changing fast, first parsnips in abundance and now mushy peas, give it few more years and we'll have crumpets, english muffins, black pudding and walkers crisps

Sorry, I dunno anything about crumpets and black pudding BUT Coop does have English Muffins, they call them "Weizen Toast Brötchen" and come pre-split.

They most certainly hit the spot!

What I want is waffles next... not the overly sweet dessert waffles they have now, just regular breakfast ones that I can spread with Philly and red currant jam.

Ok do you have long to drive over to the UK we always fly and don`t have enough suitcases to bring back half of the supermarket back with us.

Your very welcome give me a shout when you run out we can also buy HP sauce and kettle crisps

Flying is off the cards unfortunately. Will be past 32 weeks when we return. Anyway good chance to stock up on lots of goodies

But yes about 14 hours drive

I hate mushy peas - they should be almost crisp when eaten (and I don't mean still half-frozen!).
Actually, get rid of the peas completely - I'm not even fond of them when prepared correctly ...
