What has happened to them? I have found these in the Migros for over a decade until last winter. Now there are none anywhere? The sales people just say that they don't carry them anymore. Anyone know of a source? The Thai market in Luzern have none either.

I have found some in Aldi a couple weeks ago... not much bat there were some left...
but still looking for big bag of nuts...Is there any shop selling unsalted peanuts in a kilo bag?

An alternative might be new asia market, they have them in stock - but they might mainly provide restaurants. Good luck!

I get mine from Coop. Not all do them but the one inside Pfauen does. They're in the Thai section.

Anybody spotted them in a coop near Zug, so far I've tried Rotkreuz, AaA, Zug coop-city and because I was passing Siggenthal station all to no avail, bamboo shoots by the bucket load but no water chestnuts

Was recently searching myself, having noticed the disappearance from usual spot on Coop/Migros shelf -
Spotted at Jelmoli (large tin (drained weight 340gr as opposed to the "standard" half for exotic additions  ) for 3.90sfr
Now if I can find some jicama...

Was in Zurich today and managed to pop into Jemoli and found water chestnuts  Then found them in Karma in Zug HB!!
