| | Buying food from switzerland
Hi all,
I used to live in Switzerland and I also did alot of travel there. I get very home sick for it sometimes. and the food.
I am living in Toronto, Canada. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get or order food that I would normally find in a Swiss store? (i.e. biberli, tam tam pudding, etc.) Thank YOU.

Can't you make your own from local ingredients?
Or are you missing the cheese?

I would sell my left kidney and permanently refuse to eat KFC in exchange to live in Toronto.

I would give my left kidney just to go shopping in Migros one more time!!

You know the saying about how you never appreciate how lucky you are until you lose whatever it is you take for granted? I'm not very fond of the food and products here but but mark my words, as soon as I don't have them I'll probably be pining for them! HAHA!!
Anyway, with Christmas coming up the little markets will be loaded with Biberli so I would suggest you ask one of your buddies to get some for you then.

Yes it sounds familiar, I am sure I have been there. There was a place I used to go years ago, in Toronto, called Vienna Meats and they also had very nice goodies only found in Europe. They used to carry Hero Ravioli. Those were always much better than Chef Boyardee
My aunt visited not too long ago and brought me some of the things I was missing . she made me so happy!
