Just like the names Sehwag, Sachin, Saurav, Yuvraj, Jadeja, Azhar, Sidhu, Kapil, Srikanth etc etc brings more than a 2 minute silence in your dressing room... lets accept the fact.. Paki's have better bowlers and Indians better batsmen, other than the 2 W's I dont think Pak has produced any bowlers who can strike fear in any batsmen...
You must be joking...who is Saurav or Sidhu or Jadeja and worst Srikanth...Come on be real. The only player you got is Sachin without any doubt. I agree the Indian batsmen are better but only in India.

Verdict is 69 to 49. Indians need to win 20 more matches to even come to call an even. Dont get confused on one tournament. Check this link out to get the comparison right.

Pakistan batsmans......Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas, Inzi, Yousuf...Ok they are not the best but they produced lot of wins from Pakistan. India minus Sachin....erm erm erm

Anyway Good luck for tomorrow.
So there you are....you did some scratching after all....

Thanks for the stats, you did some serious work to prove your point...I give it you...Pak the best team ever the world of cricket has seen (if you pull one player from each decade and put up a team that is)...oh no wait...we have beaten the best when it matters the most the World Cup or is there anything else bigger than this?

Thanks for your wishes for the finals...I hope we can rub it on Lanka too

your cricketing knowledge is out in open just by a single question that who is Saurav and Sidhu.. Its like me asking who is Javed, Zaheer, Mudassar or Ramiz... you are arguing for the sake of arguing...

Please dont take it seriously....this is the truth....stats are from Cricinfo. Do you want me to read it for you....69 wins for Pakistan and should i say 69 losses of India.

Pakistan is not the best team in the world but neither India. Still Australia and South Africa has edge on other teams under normal conditions.

I know very well Ganguly or Navjot or Azher or jadeja. They are not as great as Sachin. Again minus Sachin and minus home ground Indian team is nothing. Just check the stats.

We have never claimed to be the best...but we are competitive. Get your facts rite dude...go and check the ICC world rankings to see where Pak stands...I suppose you are internet savy enough to google that out...since you managed to dig some before..
Unlike some poor loosers here on EF...we dont claim to be the best and find excuses for any loses we would have incurred...

And what according to you are normal conditions? No threat of gunmen firing when you want to play a decent game of cricket?

And the best part of that 194 is that he did it against India! That made it even more special

I do acknowledge that Sachin is one of the greatest batsman in history but Jadeja? Sidhu? come on give me a break! you've gotta be kidding me.

Pakistan has had some great batsmen including Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas, Saeed Anwar, Inzimam, Ramiz, Mudassar etc

And there have been many moments in history where these batsmen have given a good thrashing to India and won the match single handed.

NO! No threat of the entire crowd setting the stadium on fire and throwing glass bottles at the players when India starts to loose! Have you forgotten so soon?

Indians are peaceful and upstanding kind of people, they would never do such a thing. I think it was Pakistanis disguised as Indians who did all that.

For the Indians it started earlier than that...1985 Victoria Centenary final in Melbourne, then shooting out Pakistan in Sharjah for 85 after scoring only 125 themselves. Five World Cup encounters (where it mattered and not the meaningless matches fixed by Azharuddin and Salim Malik).

Ganguly is one of the greats of ODIs, just check the stats. Home ground? Come on, Natwest trophy was in England. India is one of the very few countries to have beaten Australia in the ODI triangular series

Siddhu, Jadeja may not be greats but they did the job when it mattered, each and ever time.

The difference of 20 can be easily explained. Sharjah, Dawood Ibrahim, Azhruddin, Salim Malik, Ijaz Ahmed.

You need to look closer, Indians have had Gavaskar, Vishwanath, Vengsarkar, Dravid... and many many more and they have won a lot of memorable matches for India too. And then there is Virender Sehwag. Just look at what he did to Umer Gul the other day, supposedly the best bowler of the tournament: 5 fours in one over, or look at the 2003 WC match: it wasn't only Sachin then, from Sehwag to Dravid, Yuvraj to Kaif each of them walloped Akhtar, Waqar, Wasim. What more do you need. And we are only talking about ODIs.
