The difference of 20 can be easily explained. Sharjah, Dawood Ibrahim, Azhruddin, Salim Malik, Ijaz Ahmed.

You need to look closer, Indians have had Gavaskar, Vishwanath, Vengsarkar, Dravid... and many many more and they have won a lot of memorable matches for India too. And then there is Virender Sehwag. Just look at what he did to Umer Gul the other day, supposedly the best bowler of the tournament: 5 fours in one over, or look at the 2003 WC match: it wasn't only Sachin then, from Sehwag to Dravid, Yuvraj to Kaif each of them walloped Akhtar, Waqar, Wasim. What more do you need. And we are only talking about ODIs.
Well everytime India loses, it cannot blame it on match fixing.

We are still not sure if India is the best team. We need some more evidence and convincing. Otherwise Pakistan proves to be a far far superior team, whos good with bullets as well as super fast bowls.

Is cricketing talent even a measurable factor which can be quantified in order to be a fact?
I agree it is difficult to measure or quantify. However we can still get an indication e.g. compare wicket keeper Kamran Akmal with wiccket keeper Dhoni. See what I mean?

dude lets not even speak about bullets, lets stick to sport(warning: 1965, 1971, 1999) and agree you have a few who can bowl at mind numbing speeds.. same as we have a few who can belt the ball even faster.. India is not the best team... but it is better team than Pak in the last decade...

Compare 20mph Indian bowling and 100mph Pakistani bowling. See what I mean!

Nopes, still not convinced. Pakistani team is corrupt and throws matches for money, which is a well known fact. They perform well in the beginning, raise the odds or the money sums and then drop the crucial games. Imagine how much they get paid for losing WC semi-final to India?!

So no, we're still not convinced India is a better team. They are just too needy to win.

2. They lost the WC semi-final..

Can we close the thread please?

Dude I was talking about the present Teams of India and Pakistan. Shoaib Chukthar the man who supposedly bowled the fastest ball was sitting in the shade clutching his knee. And the other 100mph bowler (ok -20mph may be) was walloped so badly that he forgot how to bowl. Do you want to compare your openers with the Indians' or your Captain with the Indian captain or...

Re: (Cricket World Cup) India-Pakistan [and other matches]

Pak folks still burning? Makes the victory even sweeter 5:0 in world cup matches is what counts not some masala match or records going back to 1978. I will trade all that for 5 more world cup victories over Pak in the future too.

Win or lose tomorrow nothing can beat this. Jal gayi? Look at the Pak brothers on the left lol PRICELESS!

I feel for the Pak fans. It's evident that it is hitting them hard.

Quote:
I had purchased 200 bullets out of my savings to celebrate the victory but now I guess I will save it for some other day," Bashir Ahmed a manager at a local trading company said in the Saddar area which has the largest concentration of arms shops.

"I don't know how to describe my feelings right now. I am very disappointed and sad. Losing to India and that too in a World Cup semi-final is intolerable," said Zehreen, a young enthusiast who had the green Pakistan flag painted on her cheeks and also sported the replica T-shirt of the Pakistan team.
Test cricket ranking India = 1 ODIs = 2
Pakistan? What is it these days? 5 or 8? Yes 6th in both forms of cricket lol
All the phast bowlers not amounting to much are they?

Someone asked who is Jadeja? You know who he is. The face of Pakistanis was priceless when he hammered your premium phast bowler Waqar for 40 runs in 2 overs in the world cup match lol

When Pak loses a match it is fixed when Pak wins they played better Lahori logic at best. Anyway if Pakistan wants to sell their country what has it got to do with us?

Enjoy the win my Indian brothers.

1. Pakistan has total control over the cricket, hence they can decide when to win and when to lose and when to score 12 runs of a ball and when to no ball, and make some money out of it

2. Again made some money and did an act of charity for the desperate and despairing Indians

If this thread is closed how and where you going to gloat and celebrate? This is your only outlet, dont spoil it for yoruself

Nopes, still not convinced that Indians are better. India only won because of luck, injuries of Pakistani players and bad memory and forgettign how to bowl otherwise India had no chance to win.

Pind?! What lingo is that mate? I was born in the Royal Borough of Kensington.

Its sad to see Indians ribbing it with Pakistanis which they also regard as their part and parcel and call them brothers. Very shameful behaviour by Indians, I must say. Bloody appalling DaisyBoy tsk tsk.

Your colleagues gave you all that info in one go, soon after India winning?
Are they stalking Pakistanis around here? Whats the obsession, are they so Charming?

So you are English like Porsche is Scottish? Pak fans were riding cars over Indian flags in UK when they won T20 WC. That is what I class as appalling behavior. I personally don't care what any Pakistani like you thinks about us

Wasted Bhai, I am not trying to convince you at all. In the end, India won. The score now stands at 5:0 in the World Cup where it matters most.Thats good enough for me.

I have been a fan of a lot of Pakistani Cricketers. Majid Khan (Imran's cousin), Muddasar Nazar, Wasim Raja, Saeed Anwar, Inzi and Yonus khan.
Wasim Akram is the best left arm pacer in the history of the game (I wish he had not fixed), Waqar, Taussif Ahmed, Iqbal Qasim.

Wasim Bari was a great keeper too.
