Re: (Cricket World Cup) India-Pakistan [and other matches]

I really would hate to go to the head to head statistic and see how piss poor Pakistan have been against India over the years Faheem

They've played a total of 120 ODI against each other. Do you know how many India have won out of those 120? 47! Oh wait...Pakistan won 69...that's funny.

Well I'm sure the Pakistan record with Test matches against India will be abysmal!

They have played a total of 59 test against each other...and you know what paltry sum Pakistan have managed to scrape a win with? 12

Oh wait...38 draws....59 - (38+12) = 9 Test matches India has won...

Well at least they have a 1-0 lead (out of 2) in the joke form of the game T20s

Still burning I see. How a fan of one of the most dishonest team in World cricket would dare to dish out dirt is beyond me. Let me see

- murder of poor coach
- systematic ball tampering for years
- pitch tampering
- super corrupt home umpires
- super corrupt players
- players man handling each other or not even speaking to each other

Should I add more? I think it would be better for you if you go back to acting all Scottish as you are going bit too green with envy.
Despite all that (even though the coach murder one is bordering on slander) Pakistan still have a better head to head record against India. Who'd have thought

India are much better over the years against Pakistan. That's why they lose in a head to head.

The Harbhajan monkey thing is slander too in that case. It was unproven. He most likely called him Maki (your mums) which he mistook for monkey.

Some of us don't live in pre historic times when ball tampering by Pakistani greats was rampant and when Pakistani home umpires told Indian bowlers not to even bother appealing for LBWs. Yeah old padded records are all you have left to clutch on to

5:0 in world cups Is it 8:1 or 8:0 if we include non ODIs too?

But they won 5-0 against Pakistan in the world cup! Remember in 1992 when they beat Pakistan? I was 5 at the time. I was embarrassed then as well.

I guess it made up for it when they went and won the whole thing. But those dastardly Indian really tried to screw it up.

Pakistan cricket team's reputation precedes them in matters of infamy. They make every other team look like angels. Don't blame me blame your players and system.

Was that the first phrase your English teacher taught you or something? Like Kevin Spacy would say: "For an educated man you sure do repeat yourself a lot"

Still burning? Indian domestic cricket link? He was convicted by Indian cricket authorities? Beats the few months life bans that Pakistani cricket hands out.

Everyone know what kind of person Tendulkar is. The fact that you are bringing Mike Denness incident into this shows that you don't know much about the case. You sound more desperate than I thought.

Applying sweat or saliva as opposed to scratching with bottle tops, shoe studs and best of all bitting the ball

It's Australian team we are talking about. Do you know the things they say regularly on the pitch? Have you lived a sheltered life by any chance?

What is the fastest speed recorded by an Indian Fast bowler? 20mph or maybe 21 if he had lentil soup the night before?

Ball tampering by Indians is ball tampering by Indians, the domestic guy ball tampered and he was Indian...end of. Tendulkar was banned for one match for ball tampering. This wasn't removed by the ICC and is on his record. That's the facts. God has a flaw. He's not perfect. You read that. Tendulkar isn't PERFECT

Same story for Dravid.

As you may notice I have not once said the Pakistan team are an upstanding team of gentlemen. So you saying they bite balls etc doesn't faze me mate. I know they do stupid and bad stuff.

So let's break down what we have learned.

India perform better than Pakistan in world cup head to heads. But both teams only have 1 world cup final win each (just now) so it's academic.

Pakistan perform better than India in head to heads in 2 out of 3 forms of the game. In T20s they have only played two matches, one of which was a tie or no result.

According to the wikipedia page on ball tampering there have been more indians convicted of ball tampering than pakistanis.

The Pakistan team aren't a group of angels.
