The semifinals are over. Good luck to New Zealand and Pakistan. This is a new thread for the Final.

Both teams have their own strengths. Eventually which ever team can handle the pressure better on the day and perform will win

Angelo Mathews is out for Sri Lanka and Suraj Randiv is in the 15. Nehra has multiple fractures on his right hand finger and is almost out. Since the track will have some "carry", Dhoni is "threatening" to play Srisanth. Easily excitable, Srisanth may turn out to be the X-factor India needs.

Dilshan, Tharanga, Sanga are in great form. Mahela hasn't done well but has absolute class. Then there is the one and only Murali backed by Malinga and Mendes. This is a seriously good team.

Dhoni and his boys have their work cut out.

It should be an excellent match. Its a pity Nehra is out. I dont know if India will play with Srisanth or Ashwinth. I would go for Srisanth due to Mumbai pitch.

PS: Atleast i can watch this match with no stress

Sri Lanka have won the toss, so thats a huge plus for them.Mathews, Mendis, Herath and Chamara Silva are out. Perera, Randiv, Kulasekara and Chamara Kapugedera are playing the final.

Tendulkar and Sehwag gone without doing much. Its consolidation going on right now at 96/2 in 18. India has a mountain to climb

Loved the way Dhoni managed his cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A superb reply to all the critics! Indian team is not all about sachin and other senior players! India can win even when chasing, and a tough score of 275(for a finale)!

Yes! Miss Bean we did it. Losing the toss amid controversy and then chasing 275 under lights in world cup finals after losing Veeru and God so early makes it even more special.

Sri Lanka thought they had the cup in the bag
