Hi all I've been using EF for information for a year or so but never in any active way but I will try to change that.Family & I have been here for almost a year,settled in OK,Kids havn't missed a beat(lucky them).The one thing I really miss about home is watching the football AFL.With the finals well & truely upon us does anybody know if any of the English pubs will be showing the AFL grand final on Oct1,preferibly in Bern but I am prepared to travel.

Oliver Twist in Niederdorf Zurich Stadt might show it. The problem is it starts at 6.30 - 7.00 am our time. Are pubs open at that time?

Oliver Twist opens early every year for the game and there is a good crowd turning up. Unfortunately they allow Pies supporters in so its not perfect .

Come along and watch the mighty Cats take their 3rd in 5 years.
