Re: Cricket World Cup 2015

Thanks to BD. Rohit Sharma was forced to find form. I am sure BD will lose by a good 50-100 run margin. But that will not tell the true story. They bowled really well and took very good advantage of the complacency of Indian top order. It took the very best of 2 amazingly talented players to turnaround the situation. BD will lose but they can leave with their head held high. ofcourse their hyper workedup supporters are going to have a tough time.

so who will it be against India in semis?? hoping for Pakistan...

Brilliant, fascinating, scintillating semi-final! Well done NZ! Delighted to see them in the final for the first time. Now, for the perfect final, I'd love to see the two host nations square off!

It felt like *that* 1999 semifinal all over again ... a tie was definitely on the cards!

I'm afraid that ch***rs tag is going to stay just a little longer for South Africa.
They did so well to restrict NZ in the middle part of the game, then gave it away.

Hope not, especially with NZ a beating Aus already in the tournament. It would be somewhat strange knowing you lost the final to a team you had already beat.

It wouldn't be the first time -- and the margin of victory, you'll recall, was one meagre wicket in a very low-scoring game. If Australia gets through to the final, I think it would be an electrifying, very close game -- hopefully something like today's match.

As I have stated before, a win is a win, however small the margins. Margins are not visible on trophies.

Yes, I agree. That wasn't quite the point of my post, though... I was just saying that a final between the host nations would be a great match to watch.

What a contrast in semi finals. That was like watching paint dry. Not sure why Dhoni didn't give it a go against the shitty Aussie bowling.

Because he would have lost his wicket to one of those shitty bowlers, maybe? (Not your best trolling, porsch. You can do better.)

Apparently if he can't hit the winning runs, he prefers the loss of his wicket to go uncredited.

I wonder whether NZ will bring their no-sledging pledge to the 'G on Sunday... and whether Australia will again promise fire in the slips!

Because he wasnt good enough when he tried he got out.

The 2 best teams made the final, either winning is a good thing!
