Nadal French Open Win!

I am not a Djoko fan but I have to say, I felt sorry for him during this final.

Nadal played an almost perfect match - for lack of better terms! Incredible final and the score does not reflect the shot making nor intensity of play. I think Djoko would have beaten anyone else but Nadal given his play.

I just don't get how Nadal and Federer can still compete at their age... Unbelievable!

Nadal won’t easily let go of the important events and he has proven it again that “the French Open’s clay is his turf” by winning the 20th Grand Slam. Well done!

Nadal is 34 - 1 year older than Djokovic who is 33.
Federer is "a bit" older at 39 - and that is fascinating indeed.

But Roger hasn’t played for some time now.

Australian Open 2nd place on Jan 30th if I am not mistaken.
Still not too shabby of a level for then 38 y/o.

I was referring to terrifisch putting Nadal in the same box, while he is in fact closer to Djokovic's age.

All 3 exceptional players we're lucky to be our contemporaries. I don't see (for the moment) who's gonna replace any of them when they will retire.

Nadal practically grew up on clay-courts like other Spanish players, I expected his victory. Plus his will power and resilience never ceased to amaze me, let's not forget that Novak is one of the toughest if not the toughest player around.
