Bob Woolmer - Do you believe the new conclusions?

After all the speculation here and in the media, do you believe the new finding that Bob Woolmer was not murdered, but died of natural causes?

Oh no ! Not the start of yet another conspiracy theory.
Do you think it was the cricket bat makers behind this ?

There was always the possibility they had cocked it up in the first instance.

I'm glad to see that, in the end, Wisden has prevailed

yeah....only because the Irish team were deeply affected by all the events surrounding Bob Woolmer.

How could they possibly have played to their full potential with the notion that thier victory over Pakistan might have led to someone murdering him?

I think that, if it had been announced that Woolmer had died from natural causes, theri sense of guilt would have been lifted and they would have played with a greater gusto and freedom and, who knows, might have given the Aussie a run for their money at least...or even gone all the way.

Sadly we'll never know

I thought all along there was a good chance that it was just an over-zealous copper out in the colonies who wanted it to be bigger than it was.

Re: Bob Woolmer - Do you believe the new conclusions?

Chief consultant pathologist claims Woolmer was poisoned and strangled.

He goes on to say that the police closed the investigation, before he'd even recieved the toxicology report.

Must surely be related to match fixing. Perhaps he was about to blow the whistle.
