[Zurich] Anyone fancy watching the world cup games @Landesmuseum today

Hi everyone

There's three interesting games on today!!!
Does anyone fancy watching at Landesmuseum today?
(Don't worry, there'll be a tent to keep us dry)

13:30 Germany - Serbia
16:00 Slovenia - USA
20:30 England - Algeria

I'll definitely be there from about 1pm onwards and probably staying on for the USA game as well.

Hi Liz,

I was supposed to go with 5 of my friends to landesmuseum for the match, but everyone is lingering upon the rain issue.. so as of now planning to Nelson pub, but again i heard we have to reserve tables...

So its a catch22 mode about watching the match for landesmuseum...
The last option i suggested was the Federal Pub in Zurich HB and then can decide upon Landesmuseum.

What rain issue? Are they made of sugar or something? Landesmuseum has a tent.
Sent you a PM. I'll definitely be at Landesmuseum from about 1pm onwards.

Today we will discover if germany are really brilliant (or are they only brilliant when playing a 10 man Australia?)

Oh crap.

As much as I hate to, I am going for the Germans so that Australia still has a small glimmer of hope .

I think that all we are going to discover is that playing 11 vs 10 is easier than playing 10 vs 11.

What a stupid referee

The second foul was definitely a yellow card. Uncalled for tackle from behind. But the first was def not. Poor refereeing, but then which game hasn't had this. If they aren't gonna allow video replay, then put an extra ref on the pitch.

Anyways, the 3rd game in all rounds sure are going to be exciting. Who said this world cup was boring.

Re: 2010 World Cup actual match discussion here (all matches)

Can't believe that referee. Who let him on the pitch???

Mind you.. Germany had many many chances and got very unlucky every time.

Plus, why did Jogi bring Gomez on? He's sh*te. The coach must have been "desperate"!

Re: 2010 World Cup actual match discussion here (all matches)

Okay 2nd yellow card was also questionable. So we have the Swiss, Saudi, and Spanish refs being card happy in a one-sided way.
