FIFA will eventually budge.. imagine the final being decided by something like this or if we loose this match imagine the pressure on FIFA | Quote: | | | | | FIFA decided that there will be no technology in football. | | | | | |

There is no doubt it was a goal with the replay. The ref should have stopped the game, consulted his linesman, and made a call. But it is more human error than "terrible refs" in this specific case...

Yep. I blame FIFA. But now it's 4-1(2) that weakens the case. If England can score another couple of goals, then that would be quite interesting.

Interestingly the commentator there is of the opinion that it would have been an entirely different game if the goal had been allowed. Morale counts for a lot in football.
Just because the score is currently 4:1 doesn't mean it would have been 4:2 if the goal had been allowed. It sours the German victory. Further, when you're one goal ahead, you concentrate on stopping the other side from scoring.
At least it's unlikely to end with German one goal ahead. Or, worse, having gone to penalties.

Come on man, England were attacking there arses off and the germans took advantage. Its a slippery slope when you go that route....

It felt like England was led to the slaughterhouse being beaten 4-1.

I've been eating a Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, drinking Weissbier and making love to a beautiful woman all afternoon. How's the England match going? Did they win?

Thankfully, I'm Scottish and the dog is German. The wife is English ...
3 goals scored in the entire competition.
The disallowed goal is irrelevant on that performance

england was sleepwalking during the whole wcup..so it's good that the germans gave them today the wake-up call. The difference between the 2 teams was really high.
