So yeah discuss 2010 WC matches here. Already finished matches, in progress matches and to be played matches

Let it rip!

Mods- Not sure which section this should go in as the other build up thread was here too. Feel free to move it....

Re: 2010 World Cup actual match discussion here (all matches)

Seeing Messi in action was fun today! Argentina should have got few more goals though. Boy Maradona looked all cleaned up, well by his low standards anyway

Come on England! Do some some serious damage today and send the loud mouths home Anything short of 5:0 and I will be disappointed

Nigeria was quite disappointing and did not gave the fighting spirit.
Argentina was OK...but I hope they will show better skills. Suprise of this group is South Korea.

You bringer of bad luck!

How the hell did the English goalkeeper manage to do that? Even I could have saved that.

The Yanks rubbed hamburger grease on his gloves. I would have imagined that was obvious.

Re: 2010 World Cup actual match discussion here (all matches)

US player Donovan is a nice surprise, he brought many good things in this match. Also the US goalkeeper Howard...he has balls!
Sad day for Green.....tough for a goalkeeper to have this thing happen. Goalkeeper has always been the weak point of english teams.

Re: 2010 World Cup actual match discussion here (all matches)

they are playing at 1700m above sea level, ball travels 5% faster than at sea level. To add on that, it is physically very stressful to play at this altitude (see how open the mouths are to seek for air).
