Seeing Messi in action was fun today! Argentina should have got few more goals though. Boy Maradona looked all cleaned up, well by his low standards anyway
Come on England! Do some some serious damage today and send the loud mouths home Anything short of 5:0 and I will be disappointed |

Nigeria was quite disappointing and did not gave the fighting spirit.
Argentina was OK...but I hope they will show better skills. Suprise of this group is South Korea.

| | Support Switzerland in the World Cup
I wonder how many on this forum will be supporting Switzerland in the World cup.
One points this out because there are so many people on here that state they should integrate and be patriotic to the country they live in.
So when Switzerland meet up with the UK, USA, Australia, NewZealand, South Africa etc. who will we be supporting?
Switzerland's first game is on Wednesday evening against Spain.
I wonder how many of us will even be watching the game?

when it comes to sports now...I support the better player/team. period.
Football, tennis...etc are just entertaining games really ! So I should enjoy it rather than being driven by emotions, patriotism...etc.
I would support Spain against Switzerland because they play better! |

Fantastic game of the Germans. Bit too harsh with the red card, but hey... they wouldn't have turned the game with or without their superman.
I'll be watching the Swiss-Spain one and actually cheering for the Swiss, however I feel like they'll lose this one miserably. But hey..... you never know.
In the end, it doesn't matter! The ball is round, a game is 90-odd minutes and Germany wins
Simples.

. | | | | | Yes, but the defeat would not have been so crushing and humiliating.

Bit of a shame their first game is against Spain. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/...cup/win-market |

The bars - empty.
The toilets - two.
The fans - silent.
The atmosphere - $h!t.
The number of english - 2. Alright, 3. Maybe.
I got told if I carried on making so much noise, I would be asked to leave.
Ha ha ha.
