3-3 at one point, even at 2am in the morning had a little whoop of joy. That is a score I won't see again in my lifetime me thinks.
Looked like a flat wicket though, which the Australian batsmen made a hash of, lets see how England handle it.
I also haven't ruled out a collapse by the lower order.

Has anyone found a live stream of The Ashes online, whether free or not?

Hhmmm. I'm worried now.
England, I think, will not get the chance to win this test, as the Australians "just" need to bat for a day and then the psychological advantage gained at the Gabba will be lost.
That day is going to be littered with rain interruptions which will play into the batter's hands (pardon any pun) as the bowlers won't be able to build any pressure.
Ho hum... back to 0-0 at the end of two matches. Still lots of positives, but I think the team will feel frustrated if they don't get the remaining 6 wickets tomorrow, with the formidable combination of Hussey and Haddin to come. Early wickets a must, as they say.

Open up with Swann and KP maybe? Swann was, by all acounts, turning it square with no luck at all and KP is on such a high, his ego alone will get wickets .
I still think we'll do it, as long as the rain is only intermittent.

"Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce very heavy rainfall, flash flooding, damaging winds with gusts in excess of 90 km/h and large hailstones."
The detail - "Move cars under cover. Secure loose items around your property. Stay indoors, away from windows" - painted an even bleaker picture. The only surprise was that there was no mention of plagues of ravenous locusts or four mysterious horsemen. | | | | | Let's hope and pray. Either way, it'll all be over by the time I get up tomorrow...

Oh yes, how sweet is that? I actually stayed up till 2 to watch us polish the Aussie tail.
I have to say though, I haven't seen such a poor Australian team in years.

Rumours circulating that Warney will make a comeback, but he more or less dismissed it in his Telegragh column. Would be great though, wouldn't it? If only to show just how desperate the Ausssies are |
