| | EF Rep Standing and is there anyway to increase rep points.
While reading another thread which pointed to the "all important" EF rep point " score board" I could not help but notice the following: | Quote: | | | | EF Rep Standings 1 - 1400 - mark 2 - 1356 - Dougal's Breakfast | | | | | Not wishing to upset anyone especially DB, is there anyway to increase Marks' rep count so no-one has any chance of "over taking" him. (failing that knock 1000 or so off DB ) I know it is only pointless rep points, but I believe Mark should always be at the top of this list and there is no longer way to give mark any more green blobs as too much time has passed.
Also Marks' profile has a inappropriate visitor message posted to it - is there anyway this could be removed?

As there is a time limit for adding rep. it is not possible to give more rep. to Mark through the normal route. I don't know if it can be done through any other method.
The only way would be to give negative rep. to other members as they approach Mark's total. I don't think that would be fair to members. It is DB at present but others are likely to be there before long.
I feel sure that people who knew Mark personally, or through the forum, will understand this.

I was thinking about this too...Not about knocking someone's rep down since that would be undeserved, it's people's voices we are talking about, but rather making Mark always ahead, of anyone. Since, I am sure he would have been.

Nooo, this is not an anti DB mission at all, in fact he deserves couple dozens more from me, anyways, , it's more to ensure the founder is visible...

Problem solved now, I see. Just out of curiosity, how do you get to see the list of rep points for other members? I can only see mine in settings.

Pat | | | | | Editor Bob has bumped Mark's rep up to a million.
Hopefully that will give us enough time to figure out what to do about DB.. | The following 5 users would like to thank for this useful post: | |
