I actually know exactly which "Mod" it was (and it wasn't one of the "good" mods)...
"Off the cuff" / interesting / reflections of the sense of humour of the OP are all well and good but don't take precedence over the usefulness of the Forum to all it's Members. A poorly phrased title comes across as spam.

Cheers again for addressing a fellow mod as not being one of the "good" ones. You may be pleased to know mods wouldn't dare address other Members in such a rude manner, but then we're here for the good of the Forum.

In my humble opinion there are good mods, and bad mods, just as there are good posters and bad posters

we are all human?... aren't we?

Did you read my previous message? You couldn't be further from the truth.

grynch's thread on the 3 kisses was initially titled "What is"hello"?", which I though was pefectly adequate and interesting, making you want to have a look. The some idiot extraordinarily wise and respected individual comes along and changes it into some long-winded, boring diatribe of a title. Totally unnecessary.

There's a bit of a disconnect there.

Re: Editing thread titles..

Grynch, the thread is alive, a lot, actually, so no harm done...The crazy extra long title is attracting a lot more attention than a mere hello.

We don't really know what it envoles to clean up this baby, let's not nag. There would be more constructive discussion, me thinks, if mods had less work.

Speaking of thread TITLES.... when it's in small caps, my distorted twisted mind reads tities......

Word.... I'd love a mod to name a thread : " Peanut butter smack: how you like me now biatch???" .. maybe for my bday.

Some of the members find usefulness in having fun in the forum. TBH some of us (yes, me included) can't really give that much information-wise.

I arrived in LA several months after this line was originally spoken.
The evidence that we can't, was still plain to see.

Better start boarding up the windows (well LCD screens, at least).

Oh, I thought this thread was about how to edit a thread title.
Maybe it could be changed to "Moderators changing thread titles"
