But as has been said many times before DB, why do you not simply ignore those threads that do not interest you, whilst allowing others to enjoy some harmless banter and letting off steam.
If the harmless banter was confined to threads with moronic titles like "New Pussy on the Block", then I could avoid it.

At the moment, however, it's everywhere, in almost every thread. This one is posted in forum support, for goodness' sake.

Sure, the odd witty post here and there never did any harm, but page after page after page of rather boring back-and-forth in threads that appear, at first glance, to be interesting or funny or informative, is getting more than a little tiresome.

Re: Tyranical rule

Well, if I am correct, this thread started in Forum Support, was then moved to Off Topic and then back to FS, for some reason ...

It didn't start life there though - it was moved by "them that know best".

Didn't notice where it started - probably Gen Off Topic, as there were no thanks/groans options.

Re: Tyranical rule

Perhaps the Mod who moved it believed (some Mods never give up hope) it might have something to offer; a suggestion; a funny remark; a clever turn of phrase. False alarm.

I appreciate that the Mods are tyrants and I am diligently following the action in North Africa so that we can have a glimpse of what would happen to EF if the Mods were thrown out of here. If Egypt and Libya manage to produce a working democracy in three months, not ruled by a military power, maybe I'll resign. I don't think the chance is very great but you'll notice that I said 'maybe'.

First, it was new pussy in the hood. It was a serious problem with 2 pussy cats going around fighting. Second, nobody would ever find any moronic thread of yours, don't they?

Bashing on people is somehow more acceptable and less moronic for you? Enjoy! For some other members on this forum, talking shit is more attractive than bashing.

Each their own taste.

Re: Tyranical rule

Ok. So DB says enough already. 4 mods thank him (doubtless 5 if you include another obvious one), one tries reasoning with the mob.

So mods, you all agree, so just do the EFing deed and stop procrastinating.

Just as FYI.... This thread is in forum support ( for goodness sake. ) because it was moved there by one of your fellow mods. I created this in off topic

Re: Tyranical rule

What's going on...who causes all this ruckus.....anyhoo, I thank you Grynch for the nomination as the president...I don't really understand what this thread is about...but nevertheless, since Gadaffi is about to leave, I will also be nominated as the new President of LIBya as well and therefore will be quite busy. If dookie is bound to hit the fan...just give me ring, I'll be at KFC.

Is it my imagination, or is the forum unusually awash with pointless rubbish (even by the standards of the EF) at the moment?

I always objected to the existence of ROT as being against the spirit of an open forum to which all members have equal access, but I'm beginning to wonder whether it might be ripe for resurrection.
OK everyone, how many of the following would you classify as pointless rubbish:

OK my idea is to create a new website to move the trash off the EF entirely www.EFrejections.ch or something. Grynch seriously, you had page after page to come up with the clever turn of phrase Longbyt was longing for and.....nothing.
