Avatar problems

Hi All,

I simply cannot upload an avatar, I've tried the right dimenions and memory but it always tells me it failed to upload. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone help?

Images deemed offensive are usualy blocked automatically.

Sometimes happens to me with image attachments. Usually is a non-standard http// address, maybe "blogspot" or similar; or wrong file address.
I don't think there's a(n easy) way round it, other than select another pic.

you can upload to imgur then EF..?

To the OP, What does the error say?

upload it to imgur and then try... that's about the only thing i can tell ya.

Then use the page to upload it. Images in that page usually can be used.

Thanks, but is there a manual check too, some avatars are really over the top!

An avatar is only an image. Get over it, there are worse things in the world don't get offended by a little picture in the corner of the screen. If they offend you turn them off.

On a different note, (no offence to anyone)
Can I put certain avatars off? or will it mean all the avatars being turned off.
Certain people I recognize people on the forum based on their avatars, like begga,nils, DB Abfab,music chick and many others I dont want to simply switch off their avatars.

So can I can filter out certain avatars?
Is there a way, I can achieve this?

I suggest you put the image you attached up as your avatar and get on with life.

I have to agree that all animated avatars annoy the sh!t out of me. I for one would be happy to switch off all animated avatars but keep the still images.

I think exercises such as squats and lunges could help, but really it depends on your physiology.
