How to give someone a green blobby

I've read and searched a few pages, fiddled around in the control panel, and cannot come up with it.
How can I give someone a green blobby?

Thanks.

At last! An intelligent sounding thread.

I also want to know that.

And I would also, as we are on this subject, and I see some red and green blobby things in my own Control Panel thing ..... and people making comments on postings of mine ... HOW DO YOU DO THAT? ...make personal private comments with green/red blobby things...?

Ahh Newbies...so at the right upper corner of a post you will see the sign of a "scale" press that and choose how many blobbies (depends also on how green u are) and whether it will be good rep or bad rep

You see..?

It takes a long time to become a "Forum Legend" on EF! You get more intelligent as time goes by, and eventually you are able to actually answer questions asked, and not live by mere fantasy...........

I attempted to give someone a green one based on Angela74's response, and was not allowed!

Not necescelery (sic)
It takes 2500 posts. At 20 posts a day, which some people often do, that would take you 125 days.. but it doesnt mean that you are actually saying something that someone wants to hear.

The more reputation you receive, the more you are able to give out. It is also contolled by the amount you give out in a day. You cannot give rep to a person again until to have also give rep to other people.

It does get a bit complicated. At the end of the day, it has no real bearing on individual members, just the type of posts they make and how many friends they have.

Re: How to give someone a green blobby

- Select the scale in the right hand corner and you will be able to give green or red blobbies.
- Select your Control Panel to check once in a while if anybody has given you green or red blobbies
- Thank your green blobbier
- Forget any red blobbies

Your blobby power will increase or decrease with time.. and opinions.. yours and those of others

Enjoy but don't take seriously, it's a game

Funny, as I read this thread and wondered where this scale was, and was getting frustrated because I couldn't see it, I finally realized that you must be logged in to see it.

Makes sense!

Re: How to give someone a green blobby

Green blobbies. Wonderful things. Especially when accompanied by nice kind words. Helps make my little world go round.

Sorry, I did not know that I should be saying "Thank you" to the kind few who gave me a Greeny occasionally. But I sent nice kind thoughts your way, in lieu of written words.

Oh so it`s just a time adjustment thingy? .. nothing to do with actual .... well ... actual ..... whatever it is I thought it was .....?

But wiser, yes ... because you Legend Beings know all about the mysteries of EF and where to find how to do things ....

Me, I type in words in the search area, and it keeps coming up with "Nothing found .. try other words or combinations" etc.

So, I love it when someone finally asks a question I`ve been dying to ask but can`t find the place, correct place, to post it .. for fear of being ... well .... made out to be stupid, when I spend most of my time attempting to not appear stupid, because then I may believe what some say, and lose my hard earned scrap of self-confidence, and have to start all over again, when I have other more important things to do ... well, more important to me anyway.

Green Blobbies. What a subject!

Frankly, when one spends 20 min with the eyes 20 cm from the screen in order to decipher without one mistake a 180 years old hand written letter of a couple of sentences in Sütterlin, it is really nice to experience appreciation from the readers of the forum in one form or another. People did and I would therefore do it again because of this ackknowledgement. It's purely psychological, i agree, but it's human.
This was one example I really think i deserved lots of greenies (my other messages, I let you the judge of).

Many people here also have this kind of post for which it is really worth making an effort to be appreciative and even modest enough to be admirative of people knowledgeble in some areas one knows little about. This is just nice.
