A number of weeks ago I tired to put my car for sale on the EF.
I discovered I did not write the 10 requred posts and sure enough the ad was deleted.
Since then I am blocked from the for sale forum? Why I do not know?
Like all humans we may make mistakes AND since we are willing to correct them where is the problem?
Why do the people from EF are so un-Democratic.
Who do we complain to and request democratic evaluation?

Rules is rules.
You don't have ten posts. When you have ten posts you will be able to advertise your car.
The forum is not, never was and never will be a democracy. Why should it be?

You write to the moderators. I'm one, so are the rest of these guys. Not democracy but it's as good as it gets.
In this case I am sure any of the moderators would simply refer you to the rules for posting in the forum marketplace. Market Place posting eligibility rules

I have made over 2800. Perhaps you have been out of the country, or there is some other valid reason for this. You are not required to be a prolific poster but an element of input from members is expected.
The forum is not Ricardo or eBay. Its prime function is to share information and experiences. That is the reason to have the very small requirement of ten posts before being able to post For Sale items.

Take easy folks, I did not ask to change the rules or take any extra advantage of anyone. I just want to unblock my blockade so I can follow the rules and correct my mistake. This is also part of democracy-it called dialoge.

You know what? I just got it from a friend by phone! I need to write ten posts on your EF not ten posts about the car for sale. It would have been very simple to tell me that instead of always telling me to read the rules.
I did read the rules but did not understand the request mate. No big problem. Take it easy.

It is a community - not another classifieds board. The sales section is intended to be for members who are part of the community - not some people who do not want to pay ricardo. Thank you, I got my ten posts thanks. I would suggest that some of the good people on the EF keep the agression level down.
Community is also being civil and corect. I did not force the EF to have the for sale section. They can close it down any time they like. Freedom of expressin?
