I could use the example of the young man who wanted to advice on the job in Basel as a Financial Coordinator he was just put off it.
... because they were offering him an insult of a salary and making out it was something good.

BTW, thank you for your private message. You're right: I am pathetic. But at least I can read.

Private message. Lets clarify this you are the one who message me first.
But the job could be good who knows unless they have done it them selfs.

Correct. I invited clarification. I received personal insults.

It wasn't a surprise, though, so don't fret about it.

You're now leaving the area of "Fail" and entering "Face palm" territory...

Yet you sent Treverus a PM offering him financial advice.

How confusing!

Sometimes even threads like this make me smile.

There's Jesus, a fluffy white kitten, detective work by Gomez Addams and lots of fun internet jargon.

Let the music play on.

Everyday on the forum when someone mentions a job they have or might be accepting they get slagged off told its rubbish, a case today when someone said nurses are bad.

So what do you people actually see as an acceptable job?
I have, today, been offered a position writing reviews for TheLocal.ch of Zurich massage Parlours while under the influence of different recreational drugs. I have a years supply of e's, half a kilo of coke and 200 tabs of acid with a case of temazapan to see me off to sleep. I was given an Adult Services Abonnement Pass which gives me free entry to any such establishment for a year and I have to write up a four page report by next June.

The pay is 'around the 175k mark'. With a 13th month bonus.

I challenge anyone to tell me this is not an acceptable job.

Well clearly they've diddled you. Everyone knows that the "13th month bonus" is in fact not a bonus, but rather your annual income divided by 13 rather than 12.

You need to get back to the negotiating table ASAP...

I gave it up after 10 months, the hours were killing me. Glad to see they have found another slave.
