| | Disable PM option not working properly
I have disabled PMs but I still get some PMs from moderators which I then cannot reply to.
Please can you fix this so that when PMs are disabled, they are disabled for everyone. Or alternatively allow replying/sending of PMs when PMs are disabled. Thanks.

Also it is not possible to put them on your ignore list

The system software has been designed in a way that a member cannot refuse receiving PMs from Moderators. Moderators, quite unlike other members, cannot put a member on an ignore list either. | Quote: | | | | alternatively allow replying/sending of PMs when PMs are disabled | | | | | Simplest solution is to modify at your User Control Panel and turn on receiving PMs.
We encourage this as we do not allow the publishing of say email addresses on most subforums. It is even necessary when one is advertising something ( Velo vignette for example ) to have the feature turned on.
Trust this explains.

Hmmmm, this sounds ominous! Are you workin up to a hissy-fit? Which may be followed by a flounce? Only to de-flounce again in a coupla months, sneaking back pretending like nothing ever happened?
That would be awesome! | Quote: | | | | | I have disabled PMs but I still get some PMs from moderators which I then cannot reply to.

That would be awesome! | | | | | Don't know who you may be referring to, but in these cases it is a lose/lose situation - if someone were to announce their return with a huge fanfare they would also be shot down in flames |

A real wo/man would go "NARU", then come back as another user, most likely of the opposite sex. | Quote: | | | | | Don't know who you may be referring to, but in these cases it is a lose/lose situation - if someone were to announce their return with a huge fanfare they would also be shot down in flames | | | | | |
