| | Messaging all RSVPs in an event
Is there any way to send a message to all "yes" and "maybes" who have RSVP'd to an event, if I'm the event owner/creater?
Yes, I know I could type all their names in (an answer I was given when I asked this in an unrelated thread) but that's not what I want. I want an automatic way.

I want a way to cross reference all posters who post with sale keywords in a non marketplace sub forum with fewer than 10 posts and a non Swiss IP. I then want them banned and their IP blocked. All automatically.

I'd like EF to send a signal to my Nespresso to start making a coffee once I log in to EF, so that it's ready by the time I've checked all replied to subscribed threads.

To be fair, I think Adrian's question was rhetorical and he's too polite to make demands.
There isn't such a feature, but it can't be rocket surgery to invent one. It'd surprise me if there wasn't already a mod to do it.
Given that the events calendar is such an important part of the forum, please could something like this be implemented?

So the answer is "no". I'll stick with facebook for events; I guess these forums are meant to be, well, forums rather than an events system.
Makes sense, but for simple events it would have been useful to arrange them here. Not being able to automatically message the potential attendees is a bit of a drawback if I want to, say, give out a mobile number to everyone. Which is exactly what I wanted to do | This user would like to thank adrianlondon for this useful post: | |

I just thought I'd give it a go (as in a proper event rather than just a thread with details in it).
