By the way DB, about your avatar. I do find it rather unsettling for the dear people of Abkhazia, who have a very difficult life as it is.
You think they have it bad? What about the poor people of Schwyz Mordor?

What are we talking about, again?

How offending to refer to fat people!
We don't say fat people but "people with a little overweight issue" or "people carrying extra bulk" or "geometrically round people" !

You're clearly insulting them, it's not acceptable. I'll fight for the entire topic against that which will prove me wrong, and brave.
I prefer annorexically challenged

I beg your pardon. I forgot to ask you further details:

Is the fat people you referred to:

a) black c) Colored
b) Muslim d) Obiwan-Kenobi

Because I need to contact the appropriate members of those groups. You understand we need to find easily shocked person to show you how you were terribly wrong and offensive.

So maybe you've been trying to offend further groups, let's defend them.
Enough already...no? I think we get your point

I hate you all!

There was me, reading this thread, looking forward to a nice weekend... then I looked at my watch and realised that it's still Tuesday.

How can you do this to me?

Or are bells too implicitly exclusive of some religions?

I wanted to know why some avatars, like the one I had from Benetton was removed because
.... commercial avatars are not allowed by forum rules as stated early in the thread.

And someday people will respect freedom of speech, which I believe in.

Yes, there is a difference between polite, good, considderate and statutory rights!

Mine for those who can make it to Basel.

I wonder what would be funnier, a cartoon of a skinhead doing something stupid that would lead to his imminent departure from the world or a islamic fundamentalist doing something stupid that would lead to his imminent departure from this world. Personally I would judge them on artistic merit rather than offensive potential. Come on folks why the frig are people so bleeding sensitive.

Love all around and stick it to the man!

Can we go back to talking about penis-shaped lipstick please? If you don't, I will make it my avatar.
I happen to worship vibrators, and I'm offended.

Those area clearly disguised as false idols.

My 3 year old is in a satanic cult that worships muppets and I think your avatar is offensive and oppressive as it keeps a muppets soul stuck in that little box.

Re: Avatars

As expected it's gone way OT.

Conclusion - some people are likely to be offended at some things that others won't be - 12 standard forum pages to get to this.

Basically if you see something you find really offensive on the forum then please report it to the mods. We always look into stuff even if we don't necessarily always act on it.

Now the sun is shining and it's almost beer o'clock. Go forth and enjoy.
