I'm not worried about being groaned at, however, after receiving my first groan I actually wished that it had been from one of you guys, you know.. a regular poster/veteran/legend etc. I feel stupidly sentimental about it now

I think there's way too much thanking around here. Go back and look at some threads from the early days of the forum. People were saying fantastic, hilarious things and there was no gratuitous thanking. We're all pussies now, thanking every little mildly amusing thing. So I groan all you pansies who can't keep your thanks button in your pants.
