off topic again....

anyone ready for a repeat event as yet?
We have to, it's an order, k?

Just gotta wait out this week.

For cliqueiness...Hmm. Trying not to have a different perspective here, we are all regular members.

It's all pretty human. People will group no matter what. Cultures have a lot to do with this, since I think me having a dif cultural background, I can see why some object to certain things, newbies, or people who drive by, etc. when they haven't got enough time to adjust to and soak up a specific EF jargon and behavior, that is actually, overall kind and helpful. It takes a bit for some to tune to, some ask for help, some grow thicker skin, some move elsewhere onto different online pastures. That's just life.

I find most members caring. And also know, that loads of kindness and communication is done in privacy. It's true, that sometimes I sense people need more time to warm up, or get guts to share their point, or only do so when they feel they have a back up of their fan clubs..but that's pretty human too, innit. I don't think that's anything to do with forum per se, but human nature.

K. That was too long. I need a nap.

A hot Israeli soldier? That should have been me, in fact, if things were safe back then. Instead, I almost became this, imagine, the horror...

They prepped us. But the revolution came, yay.

Back to cliquey. Non army related.

Course it is , but if you're going to post on an internet chat forum then you should be able to deal with it.
Rational debate should never be censored IMHO - sadly it is here and other places.

I think it is everywhere to certain degree..Multicultures, multireasons and interests need to have some kind of oversight, it is less in more homogenic environment. Not that anyone gets off by it. If we do it, wrath. If we don't, wrath.

It must seem a bit cliquey though. How did newer members feel about this? Is it intimidating? Does it encourage you to contribute more to become one of the "in crowd"? Did you actually not notice and couldn't care less?
Well there are always those unwritten rules of those who dominate a whatever group of people and you are either in or out,
you adapt or you simply stand the ground in being yourself and not let anyone tell you what to think nor what to do,
it's as simple as that and only normal and besides its only a discussion forum after all
so it really doesn't matter all that much whether you belong to that clique or that other clique or that funny sexy clique or that dumb arse clique....
