Political correctness is Cultural Marxism.

... that says it all really...

Back in "your day" is was just about being polite, well-mannered and well brought up. Now it needs a special term...

We are, in Marx's terms, "an ensemble of social relations" and we live our lives at the core of the intersection of a number of unequal social relations based on hierarchically interrelated structures which, together, define the historical specificity of the capitalist modes of production and reproduction and underlay their observable manifestations.
Are you fick or something..?

Just why is the `C` word so offensive to people? I can understand why the `N`word is.
Personally if someone called me a twat I would find that rather endearing. Then again I donīt get too excited about anything these days. I have seen a lot of people drown by the weight of their principles millstone around their necks.

Because it's such a beautiful word to say. The f-word isn't bad, but even though it's short plus starts and ends with a consonant, you can get so much more venom into a deep growling c-word rant. And you can spit at the end of it. Bonus.

Still waiting .
I am really confused here. Late Friday night -tired and ready for bed.
Where are all those people who are offended by this and that but can't answer my question? It is a genuine question so where is the OP? Is it that we are quick to join the PC crew as it is perceived to be fashionable
and that shows us to be "hip" or what?
Bugger me you young folks (I suspect) have got me in a tizz

Re: EFtiquette - What to do when we find words offensive?

Personally, I'm offended by all the whiners whining about the SVP (whom I don't normally vote for, as I generally vote for the Lega dei Ticinesi )
