Here is a copy of a message to 'The Local' from me.
"Please remove me from the position of Spam Deputy and also note that I will no longer be 'reporting posts' unless they directly affect me, or contributing to the support and development of English Forum.
If 'The Local' can convince me that their management practices will change to involve members, I may reconsider this.
These actions are due to The Local's failure to communicate their plans to members and implementing changes without any notice. When concerns and changes have been advised they have generally been ignored or glossed over."

I would also like to mention that this is not a 'flounce'. 
I have no complaint with English Forum, its moderators or members. It is an excellent resource and I will continue to participate in posts.

Honestly, I would rather that you didn't quit the position.
Since this is the first time I heard you were a spam deputy, you either were doing a good job or a bad one. Regardless of which it was, you never complained. That rocks in MY book.
