Was sad to see that SwissAstrid pressed the delete button. So far, I saw the following gone:
SwissAstrid
Betrand - Geneva summerrain (although i think she did this by accident, LOL) OK. she's been reanimated. but that was fun.
KB88111
Nev
lssilva
economisto
Swissbob
Cata1yst
Anyone else?
I think someone mentioned Transition has gone too.

Is this because of the new T&C?
Anything out of the ordinary there?

| | Tara a Bit
Is there a list of those users that have deleted their account using the forum's latest functionality?
There's a morbid fascination to see who's gone and it's hard searching all recent threads for "Guest".
Once you've deleted your account and are no longer a member, is one allowed to create a new account?

In the New World of EF, these people never existed in the first place.
Now, hush before we have to send you for re-education.

Can I delete my account I wonder and re register as a different name? Or would that be still classed as a dupe account?

Every other bugger seems to be at it these days.
I don't know why people can't just stick with one account and take their chequered histories on the chin like the rest of us do.

Apparently. Just so you all know, this ridiculous self-delete thingy comes from On High in Stockholm; the mods and Admin have nothing to do with it.

No.
No.
| | | | | what exactly is the point of announcing rules that cannot be enforced anyway?
I can cloak my IP and create a hundred accounts if I wanted to (and was so inclined..)

Technically, a duplicate account would require it to be a duplicate. It can't be a duplicate if the original account no longer exists, as one can't have a duplicate of nothing.
So just sign up again using a different name. But add "_loser" to the end so we know you're one of the knee-jerk-deleted-my-account-out-of-spite people.

I though it was just so the local can send email spams straight to my junk folder?
if people are really that bothered then they should pack up there pc's and never turn them on again.
