If I close my account now by clicking on the link I am by implication saying I have read and agreed to the T&C. I (and others) need clarification before the 27th.
I have been given to understand that once out, I cannot get back in. Not good.
By the way, it is possible to read much of the forum (eg. events) without being a member. So closing my account will be inconvenient but not more.
Why does it imply that you agree?

I have tried all other channels, without success.
I will report any response here. | | | | | There may be an opportunity to meet with a representative of The Local (before the 27th October) and put this to them directly.

or this most gorgeous wonderful weather (au moins chez nous and most people are still on holidays anways) keeps people outdoors, if only, or something awsome is happening on FB.

edit: oh I see now in the new T&C that if I am inactive for 90 days and I don't log back in during that time the account will be closed ....

I have to say, and I am not one to flounce, but I am getting increasingly close to logging off for a while. I wouldn't delete my account as I don't disagree with the t's and c's and I would want to come back with my original history intact if I felt the need to post.
What is making me want to take a "time out" is that I find very little amusing or enjoyable discussion threads these days. I also don't find too many threads where I can add any value and don't fancy myself as just a noisy poster who only posts meaningless crap (although I am guilty of this a lot of the time, I have had times where I have genuinely been able to help people).
The ad nauseum threads about Ed Bob, Paul, EF admin handling, general waaahmbulance posts and such like seem to be too predominant.
Maybe I'm just being sensitive though after a long day of pointless meetings and being a hormonal wench. I'll probably go back to not giving a shiny sh*te tomorrow. | The following 3 users would like to thank mimi1981 for this useful post:
