well watch it or you might perhaps fall into this trap all of a sudden ... found in the T&C.
I guess that includes the EF also no?

What is making me want to take a "time out" is that I find very little amusing or enjoyable discussion threads these days. I also don't find too many threads where I can add any value and don't fancy myself as just a noisy poster who only posts meaningless crap (although I am guilty of this a lot of the time, I have had times where I have genuinely been able to help people).

The ad nauseum threads about Ed Bob, Paul, EF admin handling, general waaahmbulance posts and such like seem to be too predominant.

Maybe I'm just being sensitive though after a long day of pointless meetings and being a hormonal wench. I'll probably go back to not giving a shiny sh*te tomorrow.
Mimi it's drama - this forum thrives on drama - have you not noticed how the drama threads get pounced upon? people going over and over and over the same ground, relentless.

Everyone does it, or has done it in the past, even the members currently sitting on the high ground looking down at the current dramatic posters, it's what makes EF thrive, it's actually why other forums fail because many EFers like to wade in to arguments and shout the loudest and put down newbies. (I am known to participate now and again)

Next week it will be boring again and you'll hope and wonder when the next drama inducing thread will be posted

But, like you I am becoming tired of the same old same old and think I may seek pastures new for a while

If you announce; you flounce

I haven't announced, merely said that I am fed up of people thinking that any of this crap matters. It's free. It is full of really helpful (and not so helpful but hilarious) people. It kills time for many of us. It connects us to people.

So the "management" are a bit lax at reporting changes. So what? We find out about the changes. It's not some bloody conspiracy, just the running of an ever growing forum. I do understand some of the gripes and feel the same way myself, but to keep repeating them?..

It seems people just like to Flog that dead donkey until the cows come home.

Ooh I love how I got two livestock into that post

I did exactly that.
Really a sensitive, touchy, tearful wench for 3 days.

Was upset, a little disgusted, very put off with lots of stuff on-line and off as well, thought of leaving.
And then, thanks to some kind friends, I reasoned.

If I did shut myself out, I'd be the one missing the nice party.
It's cold out, Winter will soon be here, I'd feel so very sad without my friends and acquaintances.. who are not virtual at all.. they're very real.

I deleted the email instead.

Nil, there have been enough unwarranted personal attacks over this silly internet squabble already. Please don't encourage them.

We might be unimpressed by EB's handling of recent affairs, but there's no reason to start being rude about him as a person.

Criticise the actions, not the man.

Girls, girls. Stop blaming your hormones. The biggest drama queens around here these days carry a Y chromosome. It's like Real Househusbands of the EF.

Maybe they should get themselves a hot water bottle, a slab of choccy and curl up in front of a good tear jerker
