Re: Need some simple clarification on why I was banned from any decent mod.
The fact is that I was not banned for that post. People who banned me know why I was banned, bit of honest would be appreciated.
As Mathnut has done a good job of diverting the topic I will indulge you in what I wrote on the "offensive words" thread.

OP retard is not an offensive word and you get offended too easily. If someone called you a retarded kunt then you would have a reason to get offended.
Don't quote me as I am typing from memory

Plus, quite often, the explanations are going behind the scenes. What innocent bystander can see as a shocking ban, could have been a long and patient discussion that preceded in privacy, or a couple of offensive posts that got deleted prior the ban with a message attached (poster always knows about this, gets a memo each time with reason explained) so the poster is always warned. The warning, though, does not necessarily show up here, quite often to actually not embarrass the poster, or simply keep things low and dignified. We don't ban that much, a little vacation is sometimes necessary to protect the debate, but I think people mostly try to avoid public scenes, etc. And also, sometimes what is seemed as quick, has a lot of investigation behind, IP tracing, email addresses matches, ID searches to see if that particular odd member trolls elsewhere, biz run downs for sneaky commercial freeloading, we cooperate on this, too, so need time to debate..etc. There are fast bans, but those are spammers, bots, purely aggressive creatures, etc etc. The usual internet biz.

Surely you see the difference between the word that might be offensive (the topic of Caviarchip’s thread) and the word that you actually used wich is considered to be the worst swear word in the English language? Thanks to such comments discussions sink to the level of the gutter and the mods are here to avoid that.
