Honestly, and without trying to do a rant about it, you can go through Forum Support and see the cases of misused privileges.

As my understanding, it's the Mods who should be forum user representatives. A mod is suppose to serve the community, be on the members side. Although the disparity is not critical as it has been in some times in the past, it happens in slow days like these.

I expressed my concern, whatever the moderators decide to do with it it's up to them. A walk down forum support greatest is proof enough as to how things are and likely will be handled.

I think this thread should be in TV/Internet/Telephone. Then it should be locked. Then unlocked. Then the "thanks" and "groan" buttons removed. Then two random people should be banned. Then it should be locked again. Then a mod should post. Then three people should flounce off and set up a separate forum. Then this thread should be moved to Language Corner.

Make me a mod.
