Another Mod bites the dust

Looks like another veteran has "done the deed" and self-deleted. vWild1 is no more.

What's the story glory...?

Are mods becoming a breed worthy of WWF protection to avoid their deletion to extinction?

Ouchboy for mod...

Re: Another Mod bites the dust

There was a small exchange between vwild1 and Nil yesterday which - to my mind - crossed a line. I wonder if the two things are connected

Re: Another Mod bites the dust

It's a free world. Being a mod in this rather demanding community will eventually tire everyone out.

He didn't leave a farewell thread, so I guess we won't know for sure.

Re: Another Mod bites the dust

I do wonder why anyone would be a mod on here now (unless they are employed by the local) its a commercial site now, and (imho) has lost its way, the mods are stuck between a rock and a hard place having to leave pathetic threads with lots of childish posts up and running because of the traffic stats and getting it the neck from members and the idiots who bought the site.

And we don't need anymore negativity right about this time.

When things are more clear, they will be announced. At least let us have the peace to figure out, find everyone in the team, etc.
