| | The Possibility of Saying "Thank You"
I have just read that I need to have posted at least 10 times before I can access the "thank you" option. I have 7 messages already posted, so this one makes 8. Only 2 more to go! |

What's going on? We are owed an explanation!

Jekyll, you are absolutely right. I did, in fact, try to thank someone for a post (dealing with the spaying and neutering of dogs, a subject on which I have very strong views), but the message had been posted before I was promoted to the exalted position of being able to say "thank you" automatically, and it just didn't work! However, rest assured, that my "thank you" button will be put to good use whenever I appreciate a member's comments. As a matter of courtesy, I will not "groan" unless somebody says something negative on a subject about which I have strong views, such as the necessity of spaying and neutering dogs! | This user would like to thank Merrylegs for this useful post: | |

don't forget that now you have the mandatory level of posts, you can't thank posts older than 14 days |

- are posted by drunk people (unless they are very funny)
- are obvious troll-speak
- look, smell, or taste like spam

I do. I think groans are ideal for sychophantic behaviour, creeping, sleazing, being pedantic, misleading, being pretentious or contentious, being lewd or a pseud, being overly patronising or antagonising.
Its not like they matter for Gods sake. They are the ASBOs of the forum world and should be worn with pride. Am I bovvered ?
